As the chef and co-owner of Books & Bricks Café in Srinagar, Kashmir, Krushnaa Patil has built hands-on experience running a hospitality business. Managing a café through political disruptions and the global COVID-19 lockdowns has given her real insight into resilience, adaptability, and long-term business sustainability. Despite the challenges, she successfully established and continues to run the café – transforming uncertainty into stability and growth.

Beyond Kashmir, Krushnaa has co-founded and operates Bombay Boutique House, a heritage hospitality venture running across Mumbai and Pune, and is also involved in farming and land-based initiatives in Malkapur. These diverse ventures reflect her ability to work across urban, rural, and culturally sensitive ecosystems.
